The Gen 3 wall connector has been available for nearly a year now, and its anyones guess when Tesla will actually make the promised features available for use. I just finished installing mine about a week and a half ago, and it took a couple attempts to get the settings to stick (possibly my network and such).Įdit: I just found on this Tesla Support Doc that M3RWD won’t charge any faster than 32a (indicates such right below the “vehicle charging speeds table), meaning, no, you should not change the ampacity of the circuit in settings to 60a, as it will make no difference other than making it hazardous (your wires become the fuse) if you or another plugs in a different car that can charge faster.
